This historical museum offers a glimpse into the lives of Confederate and Union soldiers and doctors who served during the Civil War. A variety of war relics and memorabilia from the private collection of Dr. Norman W. Haines are housed here. Located at the west end of Santa Rosa Island, this massive, circa-1834 structure was used for military operations until WWII. Take a self-guided tour through its history-filled rooms, including the former officers' quarters which eventually were used to house Apache prisoners, one of which was Geronimo. Besides touring the fort and museum, you can also enjoy the pristine beaches. The tour takes about 4 hours round trip when walking and 3 hours when biking.#13;#10;

Ranked as one of the top 10 tourist attractions in the state, this incredible museum explores the subject of flight from the birth of aviation to the present and on into its future. Over 150 meticulously restored aircraft are on display here including the Blue Angel A-4 Skyhawks which hang suspended in the team's notorious diamond formation. The museum contains information related to the development of the city, and it also celebrates the contributions made by early settlers. Exhibits encompass the history of Native Americans, maritime history and military history from the colonization of the city through the Victorian age.

This fine art museum is housed in the former 1908 Pensacola jail building. It has since been renovated to accommodate revolving exhibits and classrooms. With a wide variety of exhibitions that range from early American Paintings to Modern Sculpture, the exhibitions here include many works in a variety of mediums by both famous and lesser known artists.
